EngageNY Resources for Parents PVSD recently adopted EngageNY, a new math curriculum for grades K-8. The resources on this page will help families support their students as they complete EngageNY and other Common Core mathematics assignments.
Wellness Meetings for the 2014-15 School Year The Pleasant Valley School District is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students. To send the right message and to help our students make good choices, teachers, staff, parents and students can all work together. Our Wellness Committee will again be meeting this year and anyone interested is encouraged to attend. The meetings will be held at the Pleasant Valley School District office at 600 Temple Avenue. They will begin at 11 a.m. on the following dates: October 9 and December 11, 2014 and February 12 and April 9, 2015. For a list of healthier food suggestions for the classroom click here.
On Saturday, November 1st, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Camarillo Community Center will host the 5th Annual Children's Multicultural Bookfest. This is a FREE event for young children and their families. There will be 5 well known children's authors in attendance, every child who attends will receive a free book! LCAP Approved by County The Local Countrol Accountability Plan (LCAP) was recently approved by the Ventura County Office of Education. The LCAP outlines the instructional and financial goals for the Pleasant Valley School District. This plan was written using the input of staff, students, parents, and community members. Please take the the time to review our goals, as well as the plans we have set to reach those goals. PVSD LCAP 2014
