Today's learners are being challenged to think deeply in all subject areas, develop collaboration skills, and to demonstrate their learning in creative and complex ways. PVSD is committed to providing the best opportunities to students so that they can develop skills that will help them be successful in high school, college, and beyond. Additionally, the educational content of today's classroom is increasingly found online. To this end, PVSD will be providing a Chromebook to every 6th grade student for use at school and at home. The Local Countrol Accountability Plan (LCAP) was recently approved by the Ventura County Office of Education. The LCAP outlines the instructional and financial goals for the Pleasant Valley School District. This plan was written using the input of staff, students, parents, and community members.
